If you think you might be interested in going Stateside this summer, contact your coach for your application form. Applications are open to Club Members 15 or over before June 30th 2011.
This weekend see the Blaze Basketball Marathon take place. All monies collected from sponsorship cards and memebers fees that day will be donated to Sant Vincent de Paul. Training sessions will be ALL GAMES, ALL DAY. Don’t forget to have FUN.
Following recent matches in Belfast, Blaze teams paid a visit to Ulster Elks superleague game versus Killester. Aodhán Hickey, formerly of Blaze, organised some of his ELK teammates to meet the Blaze players. Aodhán Hickey playing as pointguard with Ulster Elks.
The All-Day basketball Marathon will take place on Saturday January 22nd. Please bring in your Sponsor cards on that day and All monies collected that day will be forwarded to St. Vincent de Paul. Further infomation will be given nearer the time.
All training sessions resume this weekend. Friday night will go ahead from 6 pm and Saturday morning will start again at 8 am. We hope to see everyone at your training session. If Santa brought you any nice basketballs or basketball kit make sure bring it in. We hope you found some time to practise...
