Weekend round up 1st/2nd November 2014

On Saturday Blaze U12 boys and girls hosted Ballyshannon in the NW league. With Blaze having 2 boys teams and Ballyshannon having 2 girls teams we were treated to 4 games of basketball with the results divided between the two clubs. While Blaze dominated the girls games coming away with the victory in both it was Ballyshannon Basketball Club who claimed two strong wins in the boys game. Blaze U12 girls and the Ballyshannon U12 boys could be two teams to watch out for later in the season.

On Sunday our U12 players were on the move again when they had an early start to travel to Lisburn to play Phoenix Basketball Club. The early morning must have helped because Blaze claimed two very decisive wins.
U12 girls Blaze 44 Phoenix 10
U12 boys Blaze 33 Phoenix 3

Later on Sunday our U16 and U18 girls made the trip to Donegal Town where, despite both teams giving their all right to the final whistle, they were both outplayed by good Donegal Town Basketball Club teams.

Midterm is over and all are back to training this week and have another busy weekend ahead of us.. Details of next weekends games will be confirmed later in the week
