Registration 2019/20

Registration for the coming season will take place in Coláiste Ailigh, Knocknamona, Letterkenny F92 N2HE on Tues 13th and Thurs 15th August from 6pm – 8pm. Please bring the completed Registration Form which has been emailed to you along with the BI e-vetting invitation duly completed and appropriate identification.

We will be taking registrations from existing members only for all groups from Under 10 to senior level. As most of these groups are already oversubscribed it is unlikely that we will be in a position to accept any late registrations after the cut-off date or take additional members from our waiting lists.

The U8 group will be filled in the following order:

1. Existing members

2. Names currently on the waiting list

3. New members – there will only be a small number of places available in the U8 group for new members and these will be filled on a ‘first come’ basis.

The cut-off date for registrations ——–. The membership fee for the season is:

1st underage player/member €50

2nd underage player/member €45

3rd and subsequent underage player/member €40

One of the conditions of a child’s membership of Letterkenny Blaze Basketball Club Ltd. is that the parents/guardians will be required to carry out supervision duties at training sessions on a rota basis throughout the season. In order to have parents/guardians Garda Vetted for this supervision, we must register the parents/guardians as volunteers with Basketball Ireland. Based on this we will be using a Family Membership form for registration. We require the parent/guardian details to be completed initially and then the following parts with requiring the child/ren’s details. GARDA VETTING If your Garda Vetting for Basketball Ireland has expired or is due to expire soon you should also complete the attached Garda Vetting Form and bring the appropriate identification with you (details of pointing system are on the form).  All parents/guardians will be contacted by Club Co-ordinators in relation to supervision at training sessions. It is obligatory for everyone to do their slot as part of your child’s membership. All Parents/guardians carrying out this supervision must be Garda Vetted through Basketball Ireland

 When dropping children to training sessions, parents/guardians should always check that the training session is proceeding. When collecting children from training sessions/ games/activities, parents must ensure that they do so at the designated finishing time.

 Parents/Guardians must inform Letterkenny Blaze Basketball Club Ltd. of any important changes to contact details or any known change in your Childs medical condition/s at
