We are lucky to have secured sponsorship of 3 of our playing kits from local business, Letterkenny Credit Union, Mac Machinery and recently Brennan Gallagher Solicitors.  However, our Under 12’s are seriously in need of new teamwear.  If you, or your business, would like to help us our by sponsoring of some kit please contact one of the committee or alternatively email Aileen at pro@blazebasketball.ie

Memberships will be taken during Summer Camp next week in the Constance Centre at Loreto Secondary School gym at the following times ONLY.

Monday 13th August 2018 1pm to 2pm

Tuesday 14st August 2018 4.30pm to 6pm

Thursday 16th August 2018 1pm-2.30pm & 4.30pm-6pm

THESE ARE THE LAST DATES WE WILL HOLD FOR REGISTRATION AS WE NEED TO HAVE ALL ROSTERS/COACHES LISTS AVAILABLE FOR THE START OF THE NEW SEASON.

The cut-off date for registrations by post is Wednesday is 22nd August 2018.

REGISTRATION WILL BE TAKEN FOR EXISTING MEMBERS ONLY

The membership fee for the season is:

1st underage player/member €50

2nd underage player/member €45

3rd and subsequent underage player/member €40

Parents whose Garda Vetting has lapsed or is due to lapse shortly are encouraged to call with the appropriate ID together with photocopies of same so that the Club can witness and validate your ID.

Green Shoots is a National Programme run in conjunction with Basketball Ireland (BI) and BI Development Officers. The aim of the programme is to develop fundamental movement skills and implement a Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) plan for Basketball Ireland. The Green Shoots Programme will be a fun, enjoyable social activity for children and the skill level of each player will improve. It is the first phase of the national programme which will see 3 levels ie. Green, White and Gold/Orange rolled out aimed at Under 10’s, Under 12’s & Under 14’s.  This leads the children on to possible progression to the U15 Regional Academy from which the U16 squad for the Irish National Team will be chosen
